Our 8 unique rooms

“Jođi lea buoret go oru”

“Jođi lea buoret go oru” is a Sami saying, meaning that it is better to be on the move than being still, in contrast to the Norwegian saying “borte bra, hjemme best (which translates into, “it’s good to be away, but to be home is the best”). The saying is deeply rooted in the Sami culture, traditions, and lifestyle. Particularly in the reindeer husbandry Sami culture, where through all eight seasons, reindeer herds move from place to place, exactly as you do when you travel. Each room is decorated with unique design elements, colours, and pictures, to display the nuances of each of these seasons.
